Our kitchen was the last major renovation we did and it was completed in early 2016. Do you want to know what the jumping point was for this whole kitchen design? The barstools! I fell head over heels with these barstools. They were stylish yet easy to clean (a must with my messy boys) and gave me all the relaxed, warm weather vibes just looking at them.

Originally, I was going to tie in the blue from the barstools with the rest of the kitchen by painting our breakfast nook a shade of blue. But that was not sitting right with me and ultimately, I decided to be bold and take a risk with this wallpaper. It really adds so much personality to this otherwise all white kitchen and I paired it with rustic bentwood chairs to contrast the crisp, geometric design.

And once I went bold with the wallpaper, there was no other choice but to pair it with a pink vintage-inspired runner (right?!)
